Today, 27th June 2006 is the day of release of Volvo B9TLs on Service 21.

somehow its supposed to be an exciting day for new buses to be on revenue service...
however it was kinda lukewarm...

got onboard the maiden B9TL (SBS 7311 H) at thomson rd at 6.22am and took that to sims ave changing another bus to school.

somehow its also the massive redeployments that also contribute to this lukewarm feeling. First, i don have pictures of those buses transferred out/re-deployed cause i didnt make an effort to last time and now its all changed! Not that i will really miss them cause somethign must go out for something new to come in! for ie mk4dms on 22,133 etc. thats rather wholesome too eh.

aiyah enough liao lah.

new B9TLs come in so we should all give them our best wishes. and farewell to those buses which left AMDEP. enough said. i dun wanna sound like someone who always complains.

for today, there was chem in the morning at 8.30 and yes as usual, i was late by 20 mins -__- did some experiments and ya, borrowed the disc frm cheryl which was actually meant for abel but he already had the song, so nvm lol. thanks cheryl!

Afterwhich i headed down to hougang ctrl and sunlight there was BRILLIANT ! =D
Coincidentally, i caught SBS9682Z on sv80 at the same spot and angle as jack and zp. and hmmm yes caught 9113A on her new ad too. Some of the photos are below...

Headed down to Sgoon at 1pm to get my 109 guides and thereafter meeting my mum to get my report book. gah. got to meet HOD mah. Took 460G frm sgoon to 9190B at paya lebar rd (sv 76). 9190B is sure one cranky LO...poor 136 sia.

so ya la, L1R5=33 and class position was 14. Mr Kwek was quite nice though, willing to help. Got a peek at the teachers' comments abt me; Ms munirah saying that i must grasp concepts better and what, and dunno who saying i get distracted easily, (but why no sleeping in class? =p). Rather surprised with ms ng's comments though, short and sweet one sentence, however im not saying here.

okay long week sia..
just now had the interview by YG Megazine for primary school children(Young Generation) abt the FLL-OEC and ya. nothing much lah. just ask the normal qns like how the judges would ask us =S.

then yesterday ah..got E maths lecture but nobody wanted to stay back heng heng in the end we all stay bac because we tot ms khairani wanted to see us aft the lecture (which was a SCAM. LOL xD), only the committee members.

so i went to look for mr so lorh to check my A Maths marks, turns out that my paper was 43/60 which i tot was bad until he told me that some got 20, 30 plus only and on par with gabriel so shud be okay lo.

also went to ask E.Toh for my Emaths paper to check, turns out i nv fail which i totally expected because ask all the lame sec 1 & 2 qns which i dno hw to do. turns out that i got 60/100 aft she add 0.5 marks. ok la quite tyco lo cuz i only knw hw to do those that currently taught like coordinate and quadratic. u ask me what make the subject and inequalities is for me to GIVE marks to teacher you know..

then she like quite nice leh when talking to her face to face. feels very approachable though in class always scold like i dunno what.

then turns out also that my a maths test marks nv key in so aft keying in my marks became B3 from B4 =D. My best subject sia! all the rest all the C5 and D7 range lo LOL. L1R5 now becomes 33 =D, a jump from 37 because of A Maths!

sian la dun wan to say anymore abt exams, geog i feel abit guilty and dunno lah, like disappoint Ms Judy Ng that i know, i failed it - 44/100 =S.

then wah feel so tired, got onboard SBS429Z and i fell asleep at paya lebar rd till u knw where? Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 (Opp Daikin). walao. was suppose to go to kovan for tuition.but lucky i had 1.5 hrs to play with. nevertheless i still felt that sleeping had refreshed my mind so it was worth it. crossed over to wait for another bus and SBS9838S came. not bad lah that VSO, can chiong one. ahhh ok lah stop here. tired liao. LUDIBRIUM come out already! go play maple... =D

Da Vin Ci

The curse of the century? Or an eye-opener to some?

Lately, i've been hearing of people around me talking about the Da Vin Ci code and yes, analyzing it in depth, asking what is the truth, and saying that Da Vin Ci code is the truth to the answers!

Ok fine some may ask if its all a pack of lies, then wad is christianity? Does a god really exists?

Let me ask you, what is the sepearation between AD and BC and why BC stands for Before Christ and not anything else? What does this show? This show that even your history texts mentions about Jesus and his time spent on Earth! So does that mean that the Bible is untrue? If you think that is so, what makes you think that the Da Vin Ci code, a book written by a man named Dan Brown and who HAS NOT LIVED IN THAT ERA be so true? How would he even know what went on during that time when he is just like one of us who is living in this era?

Doesn't this show something else? Where does he get this info that for ie the Crucification and the Resurrection? Dont you think it comes back to one same source that all of us have in out hands all along? - the bible?

And if even the history texts can have Jesus in the records, why didnt i see some monkey or elephant god or some other great gods in the history??
Do you realize that from your history texts to the bible it all proves that Jesus being the son of god lives and reigns?

Combined Sports Meet

okay today was combined sports meet comprising of DHS, NASS, TMS and CCHMS. Venue: Jurong Town Stadium. Time: 1-6pm. Weather: Drizzling = sian.

stupid weather spoiled all my plans loh...actually planned to meet vic at cck then take my 172 down to boon lay thereafter changing to 178 to stadium but all those were cancelled - due to the rain. =(

ahhh but what surprised me at Lakeside Mrt was the row of MK3s ! there were 3 JB SP mk3s from BBDEP and i spotted 2628C too, still with the 81 side destos.

Amazing Race Day 1 Run 1

lol lol lol so long finally got something worthy to post :p

okok clear enough - today was the amazing race for the sec2 experiential camp...and yah was the reserve for today so i could follow any otehr team hence choosing davin's team to follow with.

we had to report to school only at 9.30am hence without the need of waking up so early and somewhat and somehow i love the morning air or around 7-8am plus! so refreshing!
okay ... so i had TIB1005M as my 853 bus to school ; was actually hoping for a UD and well i wouldnt mind TIB377X =p

wah siao lah amk ave 1 was like so jaammm...that would usually be the stretch of road to chiioonngg lah...quite cool to see it jam though :p. cant be help lah peak hrs mah. took it till boon keng rd where i managed to successfully intercept 9402R which was actually in front at bendemmeer rd. The most atonishing thing was that 9402 was running on Duty93E ! what a big number! is BN crazy?

So there we were at the LT where the amazing race was officially commenced. Davin's team was Team 1. okay cool. A team from 2GR comprising pang kiat,alphonso, brian and 2 others whom i cant rmb their names.

First Clue: 88, St Francis Rd.

Got onboard 257C (31) and there was 6 teams onboard if i didnt count wrongly. they told me they wanted to alight at jln toa payoh (PIE). I was like well nvm, go follo the othere teams if u dunno.

So alight at serangoon rd then they all anyhow chiong in loh. follow the team in front. good thing they noe exactly where it was. Task: Recite the 10 commandments which was stuck all around in the compound of the church. I think they were the 1st to finish it. the rest all kept trying. Bonus Question: What is the significance of the 10 commandments? Without even thinking they just recitied out the 10 commandments again. I was like ?! Think a little bit deeper! Use a bit of common sense and u can easily answer that.

Second Destination: A map given with the Blk 668 along Serangoon Rd. There they did the Hennah painting on the hand which i tink was to follow the design on yanni's hand. Thereafter they walked one big round around the whole place cuz they cant decide on the place to go! Dot Dot. They dun seem to think very deeply imo. I had to hint where do all the malays reside? in lil india? i dun tink so..

hence they took the nel from little india to lavender. then run run run all the way to beach rd then run somemore to the malay heritage ctr. bleh. tired. from there go Station 4B which was LKC lib. then run run run again. blehx. lol.

then the last station was Eurasian Assn and clue also provided that it was opposite Nathan's hse. ok all i could say that it was his real house and istana was only his statutory adress and was there a eurasian assn anywhere near there? i dunno but i dun tink so =x

Walked along victoria st and we missed SBS896H. Crossed the road halfway only for the weird traffic light timing and i saw a mk4dm eagle oil bus on 33. I was like, oh ya what was that bus. Well its 956T if u had forgotten too =X haiz i nid a refresher course too! in addition it was so coincedent that shiliang was also onboard and he called me to tell me lol. lol he go enjoy himself then i still so shag got so many things to do during march 'holidays'. lol.

In the end we took SBS869L which was actually behing 896H. Okay it was just an avg mk3 bus =p aircon wasnt that fantastic. at the eurasian assn the teams are required to sing after a song which i still cant rmb wad language it is lol and brian, 1 of the member lost his ez-link card! gg good game. search everywhere also cant find. poor thing. wasted half an hour finding. and he said he tapped out. hence i called SBST hq to get Bedok int control office no. called them and gave the rego and svc and the uncle was like okok the bus coming coming. okay..though i didnt entirely believe that the bus was STILL on her way to bdk though it was already half an hr frm dunman rd. perharps it was realy reaching but he was like very cant be bothered. aft 15 mins i called again and he still say coming coming. if have will call, dun have will also call & hung up abruptly. dot dot dot. okay fine i called back 1 hr later when i rmbed lol. it was a diff person who picked up and no they didnt find any card at the exit bay of the bus :S

not bad my team arrived 10th position. considering that we wasted so much time finding the card.

after everything i hitched a taxi ride from davin lol. went down at the traffic junction of mountabatten rd and crescent rd as a UD was approaching! a CSS/SSB 608 UD lah duh. it was CSS 203 X. when a bus air con is good u can feel it when u enter at the door and i had that feeling when boarding it. Amazing! Not that i looked down on UDs aircon but it was really impressive! better than those 1255 or 1256 or 364 for that matter lah. Since it was good, i took it till nicoll hway (suntec) instead. After alighting, i realised that hey, why didnt i use cash to pay instead so i could keep the ticket =X. it would be nostalgic very soon =p. sigh nvm lah too late liao. I got 1982K on 16 thereafter. alighted at stamford road and took tib749g (167) till thomson rd thereafter changing to 232Z (54). i say thats quite a good bus. great performance with good aircon. thereafter changing to tib1208u (851) home. and yes im tired. so tata. Tomorrow : Amazing Race Day 2 Run 3 =p wonder who my team would be....

Visit to Cedar Primary

The only person i heard was going back to cedar was wei pin - we smsed each other. Aft the 'celebration' in cchms, i took SBS 3860R with aaron to paya lebar rd since he wanted me to accompany him and later got 3829H (135) to upp aljunied rd.

upon alighting i realised that yi ting was on the same bus too...and her friends, but none that i know off? wei pin had also msged me that the school very hard to enter and yah all the white fence was up around the old compound, knocking down the place i once called 'school' but now going to be a flat piece of land and who knows whats gonna be there. Its sad seeing the place we once studied, played and that had once left beautiful memories of my primary school. Now its all gone.

Mr Sachi had retired when i graduated in 2003 and a stupid Mrs ho-woo took over. Soon after, ms ow left too. That only shows ONE thing - do you think Ms Ow was comfortable with the management style of shirly woo? (or wdv her name is).

Even us, alumnis cant enter because SHE imposes a ban on all outsiders to enter the school and the security guard keep us locked out - till mr sun came out to fetch us out.

Walking in, met the principal and just greeted, and mdm ariken too - and if im not wrong she's the VP now. Saw Mr Ku too - and i was like - he havent retire yet? lol. And Mr Yeo being as gay as ever with his gay voice - yucks.

Mr Sun then brought us (wei pin & I and yi ting that batch) to the Com Lab. Nice indeed, new HP Athlon64 coms in there. Okay times have changed - but i dun understand why cchms would choose an IBM P4-3.0Ghz coms when they are way, way outdated!

so we were all there and yeah the girls (Sec 1s de) talk talk talk and yah lah, suan mr sun.

and oh yes i've got a few pictures of the school though its not nice (i wasnt in the mood as i had slight fever). Apologies. They are either under-exposed or overly exposed =S.

Thereafter since it was Mr sun's period, we followed him to his form class , P4-2. He brought his class to the AVA room as we were also there and we sat-in for a while. Looking at all of them, they were like, no offence but they still had the P1 mentality like that. I wondered if i was like them in the past or they were really like that for this batch. Oh well...thereafter wei pin and i left at 12.45pm though his maths lessons would end at 1.30pm. I was feeling sick and i didnt wan to be there too long too.

Upon leaving, mr sun gave wei pin and I a dollar coin each as a token and told us to study hard. And yes we appreciated that. Those memories left behind ... will always be printed in my books of history.

well well...

what a day..

how should i begin..

okay...it happened just after school...

i was walking outside of the admin block and didnt noe where i wanted to go, but later met jiawei wongyi dennis and kenneth and agreed to give me a lift. hence following jiawei to broadrick bus stop on wongyi's mum car..got onto SBS 1974 J (32) and alighted at bugis.

walked with jia wei till his block which was opp fulushou, after he gave me the exact directions to Queen St Ter. And that was where it almost happened.

obviously my motive of heading there was to get some pictures of 170 buses. and yah at first it looked quite safe although i knew it was a little dangerous - ie to stand at the parking compound there to take. there were other singapore-johor express buses there too.

so i was taking a picture of this bus:

when there was a yellow singapore-johor bus which was reversing at my direction where i was standing - and i didnt noe at all! It was until an uncle from this bus that shouted out very loudly that caught my attention. It was like - it happened all too quickly.

I was too perharps too "absorbed" in taking this photo of 698M that i was TOTALLY UNAWARE until the uncle shouted that i saw the bus reversing at my direction. and the bus was like so close - 1m away from me?

And of course i quickly darted away to safety. Only then did i realise that if the uncle did not shout, i would be like rammed over and crushed over that bus which was of the same as the above yellow bus.

And yes, once again i could feel and it reminded that god was with me all along and to all listen up - he will never leave you nor forsake you. and pls dun commit the same mistake as i did.

and tada! a new hard disk!

Okay i just bought a new Hitachi Deskpro HDT722520DLAT80 Hard Disk. =)

And okay the model no may be a bit confusing i agree :p, its a 200GB IDE w/ 8MB cache. Well i didnt actually just buy it; it was bought a week or so ago..and yeah just left it as it is as i didnt have the time to do anything.

Okay my comments for this hard disk is that its cheap, good and reliable(i hope).

Why?

Firstly, i bought it at $146 which is equiv to 73c/GB.
Secondly, its much quieter than my 40gb maxtor hdd and its cooler too!
Thirdly, reliable because it didnt give any problems as the files in hdd loaded faster then the previous one. Not because i reformatted it or what, the cache plays a role in it.

And now, i am using both hard disk at the same time, transferring data from my old to new hdd. Of course, the maxtor feels hot now and i estimate it to be around 32 or 34 degrees while the hitachi remains cool, maybe around 27-29 degrees.

And yes i have finished transferring my data so that ends my comments. Good bye!

hmmm, dun wish to elaborate anything abt sch, just that i switched some stupid poker card so i need not sit wid someone i didnt noe of. -___-

and yeah, sat with teck seng aft sch on SBS852J(16) till somerset rd, and we were like thinking back and wishing how nice if there werent any sort of stupid streaming or whatsoever. ya lah. then saw SBS9684T on 165 on my way home.

and yah lah, for today, my first and last bus of the day was the same - SBS 204 E(86). First bus of the day happened to be Duty 1A , muhahaha which is the first bus of 86 and took it again at around 7.55pm, unfortunately dunno wad shift that is :(

Though had to wait a little while, it was worth it as the SC chionged all da way! Esp at that part when it overtook SBS 2804 K(162) which was in front. That bus has a great acceleration and the air-con was cool too, not too cold yet not stuffy. IMO, the bus will get an A2 ;) Why i cant award it an A1 its because of the air-con which i had mentioned earlier. Nevertheless, its a great bus and it is in my Hall Of Fame ! haha... The best part was at the traffic junction at Marymount Rd and Marymount Link. The bus was the first to speed off and the acceleration was comperable to the mercedes cars beside it. It was also fast that it was tail-gating and had to keep slowing down because of the slower moving cars in front :S

SBS 9002 L involved in an accident

As you can read from the title, SBS 9002 L was involved in an accident at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 & 9, at around 7.30-8 plus? The exact time that it occured im not too sure as i was on SBS 9172 D (76) when it drove past.

Okay it was after tuition at hougang and i was on my way home, but as usual, since it was night time, i would usually try to get some night shots of buses first before going home ;) Boarded SBS 9400 X (107) and hmmm, i rmb it as a HG 80 permanent. So walked to the drivers' cabin, pretend pretend a bit to see if the stix was there and yes it was! With an 80 there ! ahaha..

Soon aft alighting at hougang ave 2, my 'brother' arrived ! SBS 3759B (25). Notice why i used an open inverted for my brother :) Yes cause SBS 3759 B was registered right aft my fav bus, SBS 3758 D. ((: Just cant understand why they gave a new livery for 3759B and 2742E(72) both having Bosch adv which were stripped down not too long ago but not SBS 362 G ! 362G also bore the bosch adv and (psst. is my 2nd fav speedy bus) but instead given a Blood Donation Adv :S Okay nvm , treat that as an easy way of identifying my fav bus among the masses! Okay then on 3759B, looked behind and saw SBS 792 Z on S132 , its a HG 101 perm bus. And i was quite happy as that would mean i wouldnt hav to wait. Instead when i alighted at AMK ave 3, just aft hg ave 2, i turned back and hey, where's the bus. I turned the other side and saw it zoomed past. Urgghh. Okay nvm. I decided to wait for S76 to come instead of taking other buses. From afar, i saw a big 1 word at the back of a DD which was turning from YCK rd. OKay that must be 9172D. Indeed it was and yipee, didnt hav to wait too long for a S76 bus. As i wanted the timesheet for S76 as i found out there was none in the forum, i decided to take the bus all the way to YCK bus ter to ask the driver if i could copy the timesheet. Okay as the timesheets reflects the operations and is a lil sensitive, i shant put it up here. PM me if you nid it.

It was when SBS 9172 D turned out from ave 9 to ave 6, that was when i spotted that accident. Walked there and caught pictures of the accident. Wasnt a fatal one, but it was a taxi which hit the bus' rear. The bus was off-service returning back to the depot and the driver came out unscathed. Police were all around directing traffic and talking to the taxi driver. Unsure if there was any pax in the taxi. Above are pictures of them. Click on them to view them in full size.

And oh yeah, just to share another picture - TIB 524 M. And yeah! Finally caught a good shot of a ribena bus. First was TIB 524 M (last time) which was overly exposed and a 2nd one with TIB 798 P (851) which was taken at an offside angle which did not fully yield out the 'cuteness' of the ribena egg-guy. Anyway here it is, taken with the correct exposure with the right settings ;) . Enjoy!

2 Friendly BCs on Townlink 293

haha okay...had thought that today would be the normal routine-like day again; going to yio chu kang bus ter, boarding my S72 bus to hougang and yeah, going for bus spotting for around an hour..*yawnz and always seeing the same old buses again :p*

As usual, boarded SBS 3871 J, S72 (its a AM 135 perm bus). This bus and SBS 3760X (also a S135 perm) are both seen each and every weekend and yeah, most likely they have became S72 weekend supplement i guess.

Hmmm for today, i decided to stay onboard SBS 3871 J till it reached Tampines instead of alighting at Hougang..went there and saw that there were still road works going on outside the bus int ! To add to that, SBS 998 Y was parked there with an Off Service on the EDS. The only thought - it would be stuck there again until the road works are done as the bendy would not be able to turn into the interchange.

Surprise surprise, this was what i caught later on :
A bendy (SBS 999 U, a O405GN Volgren CR221A bendy) turning into Tampines Interchange. Amazing! Haha somehow these 2 buses always seem to receive 'special treatment'; the lane for buses turning out was shortened so that it could give esp the 2 bendies to turn in with sufficient space. Ironically, SMRT does not give their bendies these special treatments eh, perharps they hav too many habits already. (Well these is my personal feelings towards it, you may hav other pt of views :)

Well okay, then walked towards the other exit of Tampines Bus Int and continued to take some more pics. Okay first was this BC on SBS 764 E (S293) who saw me taking a pic of SBS 9441 C (S65) which was in front of him. He then waved to me and showed me the 'yay' sign and smiling. Okay that was one isolated incident, occasionally BCs would horn at me, or flash the headlights, or simply speed off in a bid that i would get a blurer shot? Haha fortunately thats not the case, i can still get nice pictures of speedy buses ;)

Think that was an isolated case, now another one on the same service. This time, it was a BC driving SBS 3661 Z (S293) who happened to stop at the traffic light junction as it was red. He saw me standing at the end of the road junction and he started to make those kind of actions whereby those kind of 'qigong' or some 'taichee' ppl would do (you have to look at the pcture closely). Haha that was hilarious. When he was turning out, he also moved very slowly for me to take a nice photo of the bus too and was still looking and smiling at me. FLL 2005

Hmmm okay today was the competition day for the First Lego League (FLL) 2005 and it was at Rulang Pri. The worst part of it - to report at 0730 hrs !! So early!

Well of course i didn't have a choice, had to wake up at 0530hrs, left the hse at 0600 and boarded SBS 290 E (86) which rolled in the bus stop as soon as I had reached. Cool! The driver could chiong ;) Usually it would be driven by an uncle who would CRAWL along the road. Alighted 2 stops later, then TIB 1013 P (852) which was EVEN SPEEDIER! The road was his racing track ;)

Reached BB East Ave 3 at 0640hrs. Heh not bad right? BUT - Stupid S66 timings were a little screwy today. I waited till 0705hrs to no avail - S506, 2 S174, S106, S61 all passed by already. Hmph! Took the next Express 506 that arrived - SBS 1940 G. Reached JE at 0715, waited for quite some time before SBS 1731T (335) came. And saw SBS 601 S on S52 parking also. :S

Saw Chang hong, marvin and jia hong at the 335 berth too, and we reached rulang at 0735 hrs but were nowhere near late :) Registered - and shiliang picked the grp no - grp no 19. Okay tot it was a little suay to have an early number, but oh well, its alright ;)

Went around to use other playfields, and also to see how others tackle the mission ;).
Then went to find darren at 3rd floor. When it became too crowded, went to the 4th lvl instead and kept on jumping from room to room :p

Okay so here are my scores: 1st round was 152, 2nd was 230, 3rd score was 390 (which caught me by surprise too, seriously).

Previously aft the 1st and 2nd run, i was quite discouraged as the highest was 315. I told myself i couldnt beat that score anymore, so its pointless trying any harder, but i wanted to hit at least 270 and above, so i still continued to adjust somemore. Who knows. Aft adjusting a bit here and there, and replacing 2 batteries of the 6 (I must really thank darren for this advice, it was really crucial. Thanks Darren if u happen to be reading this!), I could somehow, or someway, manage to complete the flags, container, 4 leg thing, artifact and pipeline in 2 mins. The rest of the 30 sec was for sub and reef. Wah at first i tot lose liao, cuz i versus swiss cottage, and their supposed to be very pro too. Well apparently that wasnt the case ;)

Hmmm then anyway waited till prize giving where they gave mi grp 2 trophies - the robot performance and directors' award. The robot performance was the award to the team with the best score and the directors was an overall which included ppt and would determine if one could go to netherlands to represent sg in the international FLL comp.

Initially , there were only 2 trophies left on the prize table and they announce my grp for robot performance. So went up, and ya la the usual, shake hands, take pics, yeah. Then walk out by the side back to the back of the hall. Then they said the directors award went to some Team 133 or wad, i couldnt hear as it was too noisy. But when he went back to where darren was seating, he was shouting that we won, but i said that the winning team was team 133. Grrr, i heard wrongly, it was Team 1337, my grp :S

Okay then still in a shock, went up shake hands (again :S) and then they all start taking pictures. Hmmm then got one fella who was a reporter said that he would even publish in the chinese newspaper the following day. Haiz i HATE PUBLICITY. I dun like the feeling of going up the stage, i want to be unseen and unheard :p

By the time everything was over, it was alr 7pm. Lol then baoling keep saying what i owe her $2000 and i agreed to it or wad, lol. Hmmm mdm tan graciously sponsored us $10 each for dinner. 10 pple : Darren, Ryan, Faris, Lionel, Shanglong, Chang Hong, Shiliang, James, Herngyih and I went to a western food restaurant in Plaza Sing for dinner (i dun even noe the name :p, first time been into there :p )

Wah then when i saw shiliang's steak i had a shock, the plate was SOOO BIGG. I had no appetite when my fish and chips came :S By the time i finished my small plate, I almost vomitted :S :S Haiz. Then Ryan was saying that "seeing a junior win a championship was better than winning it yourself". I was very touched by that statement. I could sense that he was really very happy for me, and that in that way, he also felt a sense of winning. Thats what a true senior is to a junior. I am very proud to have him as my senior, really.

Hmmm wonder if next yr's FLL international comp can have like, 10 pple? :p Then i can call everyone to follow me liao, yeah!

1 day I go 2 climb up a 3 outside a house to peep. But the couple saw me, so I panic and 4 down. The man rush out and wanted to 5 with me. I ran so fast until I fall 6 and throw up. So I go into 7 eleven and grab some 8 to throw at him. Then I took a 9 and try to stab him. 10 God he run away. So, I put the 9 back and pay for the 8 and left 7 eleven. Next day, I call my boss and say I am 6. He said 5, tomorrow also no need to come back 4 work. He also asked me to climb a 3 and jump down. I don't understand, I so nice 2 him but I don't know what he 1.

hmmm okay to begin with, had to wake up at 5.45am as had to be at youth pk by 7am. Oh well i noe that even waking up at 6.30 wouldnt be a problem but what the heck lah, i wanted to board TIB 1018 (851) down to thomson rd.

As expected, i missed that fella but TIB 1078C (a habit wid shell adv) arrived in less than like 3 mins? thats cool for an smrt service ;) Okay and i took all the way till Thomson Rd and voila a scania strider S167 zoomed past when i alighted!

That was just too bad, have to wait loh, aniwae stiu very early ;) In a little while, SBS 2808A (162) rolled in and i boarded it. Argh there was an old lady who kept coughing non-stop. (Not that im biased or anything, but i dun wanna fall sick and repeat the incident on SBS517C, oh yes fyi, i HATE SBS 517 C).

I reached Orchard Rd soon enough and made my way down to the Youth Park where we were supposed to gather. Okay and what was i welcomed with? A "sorry the time has been changed to 9am". I retorted back, "What?!". Oh well i had to resent to this fact, ahhh and the worst thing was that i had no camera with me. A sudden sense of boredness stung me. Arghhh...

Okay then zhiyu and pamela went walking around the orchard belt of shopping ctrs (or whatever u wanted to call it) while i made my way down to the bus stop :p

I had no place in mind to go but since S143 ( SBS 223 A) came, then i decided to alight at HBF. A few things why i like S143 is Clemenceau Ave and Kg Bahru. Clemenceau Ave is such a great detour to all those messy jams out there and Kg Bahru is a 1-lane rd. Whee i also liked narrow and winding roads (this explains why i like S200 so much :p)

In no time, I had reached Telok Blangah Rd (HBF) and walked into the int. Observed the fleet of buses for a while, nothing that exciting :( When walking down all the way to the end then i just remembered: i could take S409! wheee....S409 is a 2nd S200, full of winding paths.

Never actually realised SBS 748 C (S409) when it was previously on S16 that the air-con was so powerful and yeah, quite speedy too. Didnt used to pay much attention to it cuz firstly, the no was 748 :p and secondly, i didnt quite like the Sushi Tei advertistment :p

On the overall, S409 is quite a gd route though i seriously feel that a dart should be deployed instead and the cruise ctr sector was a little dumb, call it stupid if u want to. I mean, who would wanna wait for who noes, 30 mins at telok blangah rd for 748C to pull into the bus stop to get them to cruise ctr which is like, 5-10 mins walk away?

Checked the driver's timesheet, scheduled time to reach back HBF: 0825. Okay he exceeded a bit - 0828, as he was driving a little slow. Quickly made my way down to the bus stop, wanted to catch 143 but the bus stop was unsually empty. Grrrhh must have missed all the buses already, okay didnt want to take the chance, an LO3x 97 came, boarded it, alighted at Raffles Ave - 0848. Went onboard a S700A O405 HC, alighted at the Singapore Power bus stop - 0859. Whoa, 1 min left to run back to youth park.

Okay and i found out i wasnt late at all, cuz we were supposed to change into the T-shirts and report back at 10am :( So much for that anxiety and rush :(

Had some toopid performance till 10.30am when the guest-of-honour would start the race and the most stoopidest thing was to flash the clues on the LCD screen, and it wasnt one clue, it was a choice of 4 diff routes, and all were flashed so quickly :(((

Initially decided on going to the 'Red Bakery' but felt it was too risky so decided to go to the Siglap Mosque as it was a safer choice. A S36 (SBS 903 X) rolled in and those pple flooded the bus, urghh.. At Amber Rd, received a call frm those idiots, saying that we must use Route B , which was to go the first hindu temple in chinatown. GRRRHHH!

Okay bo pian lorh, lose liao from the start. Walked to Mountbatten Rd, and from afar i spotted a MK2 WA, and walla it really was: SBS 1772 A. Took that all the way down to Geylang Rd, and tailing behind was SBS 3666K (S002), okay that guy's a BN SP.

Hmmm went down to that temple and had to tie a saree, okay that was easy; asked an auntie to tie on yanni and we tot we could zoom off to the nxt stn - but what did they say - "sorry we have ran out of clues".

All 4 of us were like so taken aback, and were complaning that the cchms AR was FAR MUCH better, yeah i agreed totally. I mean, u give the competitors 4 choices but later call them and tell them to go to a specific stn, this was the first setback. Secondly, NO MORE CLUES. Whoa this is so ridiculous, its so ... urghhhh...

Just when i bought a red bean ice-cream frm an uncle outside, they finally decided that they would announce it instead. T.T Simply bad timing.

We then proceeded on to Eu Tong Sen St bus stop at PP Complex. Whee...A trident came, hmm not too bad lah, mi thinking to myself (SBS 9685 R , S80). Oh yes we were suppose to go to the Eurasian Association, it was reflected in the st directory at Mountbatten rd, just aft Ford Rd. Humph it was an Eton Playhouse instead !!! :@ and btw, we changed to SBS 1989 S (S12, its actually a S66 perm) to mbt rd :)

Zhiyu then said he knew of a Eurasian Community Centre which was at Ceylon Rd (Dunman Rd). Quickly ran across the road and SBS 9023 B (S30) came at the perfect time, great! But not to mention the S33 (SBS 2595 M) took so long just to arrive. Okay that place was right (and not reflected in the st directory as well). Those pple fail english right? Cant tell the difference btwn community and assn?

After that station, we decided to walk to our nxt chktpt as it was at Malay Village, and taking a bus might be incurring more time loss instead, so the former was chosen. Had to do 10 kicking of the feather thing, and what's the name of that?? I suddenly cant rmb T.T

And had to go back to Telok Ayer Green CC where they would give lunch. Urghh back frm where we came from. Boarded SBS 2765 P (S002, fyi its a S81 perm) and when we went there, they told us they couldnt contact the caterer or smth, ahhh by now i was already so pissed with their poor planning of the event that i could just shrugg it off as another, u can say blunder that they made? Or they used that as an excuse so they need not pay for us? Onli they noe de answer. Anyway then the man told us to go to PP Cplx. Went around the whole place and found nth at all, ended up it was a PP Ctr. Hmph! This was totaly expectable (judging by the way the could have told the first clue wrongly and all the other blunders). Okay this wasnt a very nice stn, i had to had my face painted. Hmmm..no comments. Later, we went in to find the camera man to take pic so could minus 15 mins off the total time, then i headed to the toilet to wash off the paint, it was simply disgusting :(

Next stop, Tekka I Don't Know What. Thats the clue they read out to us. Okay we deduced it could only be mall or ctr. It couldnt be lane as there was nth there except LTA at hampshire rd. Made a beeline to the bus stop and actually wanted to take S166 and go in front to change but zhiyu and yanni were complaining that it was wasting money. Oh well nvm SBS 9386 D - S147 came in no time. Boarded it and went to the upper deck. Hoping that the others would still be inside the mall. However they still made it in time, okay nvm. To our surprise they alighted in the middle of nowhere, at Clark Quay mrt stn bus stop. Hey wait a second! they might be cheating - to take the nel. We were onli allowed to travel by bus or by foot. Oh heck them man...I have faith in 9386D :D I was confident that we would not lose time.

The tertiary grp ppl told us it was behind the mall - and the task was to tie 3 bundles of flowers with a red string. Okay tht was rilli dumb, ah anw then boarded SBS 2700 K - S66 to Aljunied Rd. On the bus, there was a traffic inspector and i just asked him how long were his working hrs and which depot he reported to - 8 to 8.5 hrs a day and he reported to HQ (BRAM). I'm not sure if all the TIs report to HQ or at the respective depots cuz i saw a few TIs on the Empolyee Bus going in and out of AMDEP. Okay then saw SBS 962 A with that cute chicken little ad turning in to aljunied rd quickly and 2700B being at the back. Requested the driver to chase, and he even horned at 962A. The BC on 962A even asked if the BC that horned was our friend and laughed.

Soon enough we reached the Aljunied Rd (Blk 105/106) and we walked in all the way to the 'cant rmb the name' temple near the Geylang East Ctrl Lib. That was were wee kim wee's ashes were buried, and i didnt noe that till tat moment.

Supposed to make a lantern that was 'presentable' as requested by the stn masters. Ahh heck just anihow staple the angbows anywhere. Okay and we got the clue : at the heart of china. T.T went back to the stn master and complain, he said we go down and get the chop at PP Ctr(the previous one that we went) and if they should refuse, we can ask them to call him (Edwin). Urgghh, 3rd time boarding sv2 to chinatown!!!!!!!!!! Cut through out to sims ave and cutting through lor 33 to geylang rd where we would board S2 to chinatown AGAIN.

This time it was a MK3 S2 bus - SBS 873 Z. Got our ticket ( or passport or whatever) chopped and boarded SBS 9021 G - S143 back to youth pk where it would mark the end of the race.

Hmmm personal conclusion and comments for myself: it was tiring (yes indeed! frm 10.30 - 5pm) , so badly planned that it was like a joke and they created so many loopholes for this event(no follower = who noes if you're cheating)

Haiz watched some stoopid dance and prize giving, by the time everything was over it was 6.45pm - hungry and thirsty and tired. (pst, have u realised that we didnt eat lunch =p)

Since zhiyu, pamela and yanni were all taking train (which was their fav travelling style), i followed them as yeah, its a bit sianz to go home by oneself when one is just so weary. Zhiyu and pamela went to dhoby ghaut while yanni and i alighted at AMK stn. Time arrived - 1916. hmm, thats fast :p Then we crossed the bridge at ave 3 and aft quite a while (which was quite unusual), SBS 843 K (S165) pulled in. Yanni alighted 2 stops ahead while i continued till amk pri sch, aft which changing to SBS 3825 T - S268 which was a speedy ride home. Whee...Thats just what i needed. Okay 3758D tired liao, wanna go back amdep liao...........
